1970’s International Truck with Traditional Handpainted Lettering, Lines and Scrolls by Grant Fowler Signs

1970’s International Truck with Traditional Handpainted Lettering, Lines and Scrolls by Grant Fowler Signs

Another beautifully restored 1970’s truck came into the signshop looking for my paint brush.
This one named ”Old Red” being a International C1800 Series belongs to Don Barrett of Gippsland and the truck originally came from the Yass area in NSW.
Hand painted or brushed lettering was applied to both driver and passenger doors, then I pinstriped the “butterbox” cabin using a light fawn colour and added the scroll work to finish it all off. Just another example of what some carefully applied handbrushed traditional signwriting can do to a lovely restored truck, thank you
